Introduction:
“We needed a solution that wasn’t going to be complicated.”
The Dan Wolf Automotive Group is located in Naperville, Illinois and proudly serves the communities of Naperville, Aurora, Joliet, and Chicago. With three different locations and the Chicago area’s largest inventory of brand new Toyota, Chevrolet, Lexus, and Scion models, the Company has been providing award-winning customer service and satisfaction for over 40 years! From processing online leads and providing customers with instant online quotes to seamlessly syndicating inventory and deploying new software to increase staff’s efficiencies… having the right technology is critical.
Challenge:
“There wasn’t enough time in the day to keep up with it all.”
In 2004, The Dan Wolf Automotive Group had only one IT person on staff that was spending the majority of his time troubleshooting and responding to employees’ individual IT issues. There was not enough time to be proactive and improve the dealership’s IT infrastructure. Certain operations were causing bottlenecks because there was no real structure for submitting support requests, maintaining documentation and inventory, and monitoring the network. The Dan Wolf Auto Group was greatly in need of a person with additional training and credentials that could manage a growing network of this size and implement the appropriate technologies.
Solution:
“We have a state of the art network!”
Shartega standardized the server and desktop infrastructure utilizing Microsoft’s newest technologies and best practices. As a result, many support issues and reactive issues at the end user level drastically decreased, therefore increasing customer satisfaction and employee productivity. In addition, Shartega improved stability of the network infrastructure and connectivity between sites and their ASP datacenter to further minimize downtime. As part of this initiative, Shartega designed their network with future growth in mind so that it would easily allow The Dan Wolf Auto Group to add new dealership
Results:
“It’s about finding trustworthy partners, who listen and care.”
Dan Wolf Auto Group went from 80 computers spanning across two locations in 2004 to 325+ computers spanning over three locations today. They have increased customer satisfaction and employee productivity while also increasing network security, unified communications, and a highly scalable environment. Dan Wolf remains one for he leading Toyota, Chevy and Lexus dealers in the nation.
